and participation.
These are the recorded governance rules for WAWL’s planned member research network. Visitor accounts and member participation are deferred; this public record explains the intended ranking, moderation and correction boundaries.01 · RANKING MODEL CARD
How research is ranked.
The deferred member model combines several inputs using disclosed weights. It does not use a trained graph neural network (GNN). Its scores are intended to organize the member feed; they do not alter claim confidence, evidence labels or publication status.Evidence quality
Reviewed and higher-quality sources carry the largest single weight.
Relationship strength
Direct graph relationships outrank loose topical proximity.
Topic affinity
Consented interests and followed topics can improve relevance.
Freshness
Recency matters, but cannot overpower evidence quality.
02 · MODERATION POLICY
People remain accountable for consequential decisions.
Automation can route and flag work. It cannot permanently remove a person or scholarly contribution without a recorded human decision.- 01
Report
Members identify evidence, harassment, identity-harm, spam or other concerns and may attach a source.

Triage
A qualified human reviewer claims the case; urgent and critical queues use shorter response targets.

Decision
No action, context label, distribution restriction or removal requires a written rationale.

Appeal
A separate reviewer records an attributable appeal decision without erasing the original history.
03 · COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
How corrections are recorded.
Challenge
A factual challenge enters the evidence contribution system with an explicit claim and public source.
Review
Acceptance for editorial work is separate from publication and does not imply endorsement.
Replace
An independently approved replacement links back to the earlier public claim.
Preserve
Superseded and withdrawn records remain citable, dated and visible in the correction chain.
Boundary: A popular challenge is not automatically a valid correction. Source support, uncertainty, rights and ethics are independently checked before public approval.

Server-enforced permissions
PassMember, reviewer, moderator and administrator capabilities are checked before every protected action.
Explainable ranking

Evidence-led challenges
PassCorrections require a claim and source and remain distinct from opinion.
Human review and appeals
PassTrust actions have ownership, rationale, escalation and appeal history.
Public read-only access
PassClaims, citations, corrections and these standards remain available without joining.
